Our program introduces you to cenote diving under the guidance of skilled instructors. You’ll dive into one of these natural pools, surrounded by rock formations and lit by natural light filtering through the water.

Your Dive
Your introductory scuba diving experience at Casa Cenote takes place over one day from 8:30/9 AM to 3 PM.
- We head to Casa Cenote from the center of Playa del Carmen between 8:30 and 9 AM to get acquainted with the equipment in a shallow area. Then, we begin the dive in this cenote for about 45 minutes.
- Depending on weather conditions and your level, a second dive may be conducted in the sea at a depth of 10 to 12 meters, or in a more advanced part of the cenote to encounter more marine life.
Warning: do not take a flight within 18 hours after diving.

Is equipment rental included?
For any Triton Diving experience, equipment rental is included with the package. If you wish, it is possible to use your own equipment!
Should I book transportation?
Triton Diving takes care of everything, including transportation. Your guide collects you from central Playa Del Carmen and brings you back at the end of the session.
What is the maximum group size?
In order to offer a human experience, the size of the groups is limited according to the formula. For example, the group is maximum of 4 people per guide to go to Cenotes. It is of course possible to have several guides if you are a group of more than 4 people!
What should I bring with me for a cenote dive?
For a cenote dive with Triton Diving, we recommend bringing a comfortable swimsuit, a towel, water shoes or sandals, a change of clothes, and any personal snorkeling or diving equipment you prefer to use, such as masks or fins. Although Triton Diving provides all necessary diving equipment, having your own mask and fins can increase your personal comfort during the dive.
I have never dived, can I participate?
Triton Diving offers first dives to introduce beginners to the practice of scuba diving.
Then, it is possible to become OpenWater certified in order to gain autonomy and discover new places.
I have health problems, can I dive?
Depending on your situation, scuba diving will be possible. For this, it is necessary to contact us beforehand in order to accompany you in this process.
I want to dive in Cenote but it has been several years since I last dived. Is it possible ?
In order to make the most of the experience in Cenotes, it is best to contact us beforehand, in order to organize a short refresh session.
Are cenote dives suitable for beginners?
Cenote dives can be suitable for beginners, depending on the specific cenote. Triton Diving offers introductory cenote dives perfect for those who are newly certified or have limited experience. Our experienced instructors provide thorough briefings and ensure all safety measures are in place, making the experience comfortable for beginners. However, some cenote dives may require advanced diving skills due to their depth and complexity.
For a first experience, the beautiful Chac Mool cenote is perfect as it is suitable for all levels and combines many of the magnificent features we wish to see in cenotes.
